Nearly 100 boats will be on display at this years Port Credit Boat Show in Mississauga, ON. The show opens on Friday, August 26 and runs until August 28 inclusive. Organizers say the show has completely sold out its slip space this year.
According to show promoter, Heather Robertson, the event will feature a roughly fifty-fifty split of power and sailboats, with many pre-owned yachts on display. However, there will also be new boats at the show as well.
This year, C.A.S. Power Marine Ltd. in Ayr, ON will exhibit at the show for the first time. The dealer will be showcasing at least three new power boats including a Formula 350 SS, Starcraft 2119 and Starcraft 22CSX (I/O).
There will be more than 50 land-based exhibitors at the show including marine equipment retailers, insurance and finance providers, charters, sailing schools, boat associations, and canvas makers. This year, Raymarine will have its 32-foot Mobile Electronics Trailer on site to display a variety of the companys latest marine electronics. There will also be a consignment tent where show visitors can browse items their fellow boaters are selling.
A total of 19 seminars will be presented over the course of the show. Among this years seminar topics are cruising the Inter-Coastal Waterway in the Caribbean, cruising the Thousand Islands, Living His Dream On Her Terms and how to dock your power boat.
