This will be a short entry, out of necessity, as I'm pecking away on my Blackberry in a cab on the way to a new product session and poolside party here at the Miami Boat Show.

The biggest boat show in North America, Miami is where you see all the new stuff for the coming year - and a lot of other things we just don't often see back home in Canada. Here's a case in point:




The Verado 350 SCI isn't a new engine, but it's not everyday you see one in white - much less four of them. They're hanging on the back end of a Deep Impact offshore fishing boat. With a combined 1,400 horsepower, that thing goes like a rocket when they put the hammers down.

I want one!
